[caret-users] Extent threshold

Kevin,

If by "extent" you mean surface area, try using the metric clustering  
function.  Use this feature after your functional volume has been  
mapped to the surface.  It will allow you to set a range of metric  
values and a minimum surface area for clusters.  Launch the dialog  
using Attributes Menu->Metric->Clustering and Smoothing.

* Map your functional volume to the surface
* Select Attributes Menu->Metric->Clustering and Smoothing
* On the Metric Modification Dialog, set the input to the metric  
column containing your functional data, set the output to a new column.
* Press the Clustering tab, press the round button on the left of  
"Minimum Surface Area", and enter a value for the minimum surface  
area of a cluster.  Use the Cluster Values to select a range of  
metric values for the clusters.  Press the Apply button.
* Display the newly created metric column.
