[caret-users] simple user's guide for caret

Good point -- the PALS_B12 tutorial was intended as a full day tutorial.

The one John cites below is much quicker, but obviously less comprehensive.

John Harwell once said, "You can't have a tutorial called 'The Basics' 
that's over 80 pages."  Well, I agree.  Although the title is 
misleading, the PALS tutorial is still a worthwhile investment of a day 
for many users.
