[caret-users] All caret-users posts now require moderator approval

Dear caret-users,
Due to the number of spam messages sent to the list, spoofing addresses
of legitimate members, we have decided to require moderator approval for
all posts. All legitimate posts will be approved; only spam and virus
posts will be rejected.
There have been only three spam postings, but we're concerned about the
possibility of a virus being sent to the list (e.g., spoofing a
legitimate member with a seemingly innocuous attachment extension like
".jpg").
In most cases, members of Van Essen Lab provide the responses, and these
same individuals will be moderating the posts. (If no one has had a
chance to approve your post, then no one will have had a chance to
answer it.)
We hope you understand the motivation for this action. Let me
(donna at brainvis.wustl.edu) know if it adversely affects you in any way.
Donna
