Vectors

In caret, vectors are displayed at three-dimensional locations for fiducial surfaces and volumes.

Creating Vectors

• Attributes Menu->Vectors->Create Vectors from Surface Subtraction
• Attributes Menu->Vectors->Create Vectors from Surface Normals
• caret_command -volume-to-vector

Display Vectors

The display of vectors is controlled on the Display Control's Vector Settings page.

If there are vectors "under" the surface, adjust the opacity of the surface on the Display Control's Surface Miscellaneous page.

Vector Storage

Vectors are stored in a GIFTI Data Array File. The proper file name extension is ".vector.gii".
