METRIC PARCEL SMOOTHING
     caret_command -metric-parcel-smoothing
        <coordinate-file-name>
        <topology-file-name>
        <input-dconn-file-name>
        <output-dconn-file-name>
        <smoothing-number-of-iterations>
        <smoothing-strength>

        [-sigma]

        [-smooth-col]

        Smooth metric data.

        Currently only Geodesic Gaussian is supported for PC smoothing.

           NOTE: The amount of smoothing is controlled solely by sigma
              (default 2.0), and iterations. The intent is to do one
               iteration of smoothing, with the sigma specifying how
               much smoother the metric is desired to be.

        Run "caret_command -help-global-options"
           for parameters available to all commands.
