About Connectome Workbench

Connectome Workbench is a free, open-source, software package for structural and functional analyses of the cerebral and cerebellar cortex. Connectome Workbench runs on Apple (Mac OSX), Linux, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Connectome Workbench software includes two main programs, workbench and caret_command. Workbench is a graphical user interface (GUI) for interactively manipulating and viewing neuroimaging data. caret_command is a command line program that allows batch processing of neuroimaging data.

Connectome Workbench is developed in the Van Essen Laboratory at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Connectome Workbench is currently in pre-alpha development stage, and as such, use is strongly discouraged as their may be underlying issues that severely impact users. The first release of workbench is due in Spring of 2012.
